Today, we met Paterson Joseph, an English actor. Paterson has been in movies, television shows, and is a very successful theatre actor. He has performed many Shakespeare roles and has even appeared on Broadway!

While in London, we were able to see Paterson Joseph perform on stage at the National Theatre located on London's South Bank. Although not a Shakespeare play, his performance in The Royal Hunt of the Sun allowed us to see Paterson in action. Seeing him perform reminded me of all the work actors have to do to prepare for a role, and actors like Paterson make it look very easy. He spoke and moved like a completely different person!

I spent some time speaking with him before Jenny asked him a few questions about what it is like to be an actor. Paterson was very inspiring and encouraging. I learned an important lesson from him: pursue what you love to do and always have fun doing it.

I really look up to Paterson and would like to model my career after his.
