Turkish Delight |
|
Turkish Delight is one of the oldest candies in the world. It is a soft and chewy treat that is covered with powdered sugar to keep it from sticking together. In the U.S., Turkish Delight is not a particularly popular sweet. Most Americans know of the candy from the book by C.S. Lewis, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, in which the white witch offers Turkish Delight to Edmund.
