The South Bank is an area of London located on the southern bank of the River Thames. There are many attractions in this area such as the Royal National Theatre, the Hayward Gallery, and the London Eye. Many British TV shows are filmed in studios located on the South Bank.

South Bank Centre is a huge arts complex located in the area that is visited by over 3 million people a year. People come to the South Bank Centre to see the art exhibits, educational events, and dance and musical performances.

Another interesting note about the South Bank is that it is considered the unofficial home to street skating and skateboarding in Britain!
