Soliloquy |
|
A soliloquy is an audible conversation a character has with himself or herself. When reading Shakespeare's plays you will encounter many soliloquies. These are spoken to the audience so that the charcter may reveal personal thoughts, plans, and feels to the audience but not other characters in the play.
