Jet Lag

Jet lag is the downside to travel. It is the feeling of being tired and disoriented after a long flight.

A person usually becomes jet lagged from flights that travel over different time zones. Long flights cause your sleep pattern to change and other discomforts such as sore muscles and exhaustion.

These effects can be felt for a few days until your body adjusts to being off the airplane and the time change. For example, England is 5 hours ahead of New York time. So, when it is 9:00am in London, it is only 4:00am in New York.

Once a traveler catches up on sleep and adjusts to the time change they start to feel much better!
