Conservation is the act of saving something. You can conserve something by using less of it, or by keeping it safe and clean. As the world's population grows and the demand for natural resources increases, it important to protect the enviroment by conserving water, energy, and things that give us fuel like coal and oil.

If we do not conserve these things they may not be there in the future.
