Birds of Prey
birdsofprey illustration

Birds of prey, like eagles, hawks, and owls, use their sharp talons and hooked beaks to hunt for food. They have excellent vision and can spot their prey from very far away.

Birds of prey hunt and catch a variety of animals to survive and are part of the cycle that helps to maintain a balance in nature.

A person that has excellent eyesight is said to have "eyes like a hawk."
