Birds of prey use their sharp talons and hooked beaks to hunt for food. Some types of birds of prey include: owls, hawks, falcons, and eagles.

Birds of prey have excellent vision and can spot their targets from very far away. A person that has excellent eyesight is said to have eyes “like a hawk.”

Birds of prey hunt and catch a variety of animals to survive and are part of the cycle that helps to maintain a balance in nature.
