Monotheistic

Monotheism is the belief in a single god. Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are 3 major monotheistic religions.

The term ‘monotheistic ’evolved from a combination of the Greek words for ‘only ’and ‘god’.

Polytheistic religions, by contrast, are defined by a belief in more than one deity, or god. Henotheistic religions worship a supreme god while acknowledging that other deities may exist.
