Hummus

Hummus is a traditional dish that originated in the Middle East. It’s a thick paste of ground chickpeas combined with oil, garlic, lemon juice, and sometimes tahini. It can be used as dip with pita chips or paired with falafel.

Hummus is also one of the oldest prepared vegetable dishes, and it is rich in iron, vitamin C, protein, and dietary fiber.
