Jenny M Buccos - Director & Producer

When not travelling, Jenny calls New York City home. In addition to being Director & Producer, she serves as Creative Director for all aspects of ProjectExplorer’s film and multimedia programming. While working in South Africa, she was given a Zulu name - Mbali. She answers to both names!

Ilana Fayerman - Presenter & Producer

Shown here in traditional Zulu face paint, Ilana holds a BFA in Theater Performance and an MA from Columbia University in Socio-Cultural Anthropology focusing on documentary film. Ilana has had several small roles on Fox, Oxygen, Showtime, and The Learning Channel. Originally from Florida, South Africa marked Ilana’s first travel experience outside of North America. Ben Vishnu Mandell - Director of Photography/Producer

As a documentary filmmaker, Ben spends much of his time abroad. He has lived in Nicaragua, South Africa, and Ethiopia and he loves to explore new places and cultures. Ben has an MA from Columbia University in Business and BS from The Pennsylvania State University in Computer Engineering. His film, Green, Yellow, Red explores the rebuilding of Ethiopia through the lives of three individuals who have created inspiration out of extreme circumstances.

Adam Sewall - Presenter

Originally from New England, Adam holds a BA in Geography from Middlebury College. In addition to travelling, his interests include cooking, music, and being outdoors. In fall 2008, Adam will receive his master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University.

Christopher Schram - Presenter

Christopher was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. After receiving a Bachelors Degree in Theater, Christopher moved to New York City to continue his professional acting career. Although acting keeps him quite busy, he loves to travel and is beyond thrilled to be exploring with ProjectExplorer and sharing his adventures with you! When not auditioning or appearing on stage or camera, Christopher is a Spin instructor at two NYC fitness clubs.

Hannah Jantsch - Production Assistant

Hannah is a native of Pittsburgh, PA, and graduated from Point Park University with a degree in musical theater. She loves singing, travel, laughing and peanut butter. She is excited to explore the world and share her experiences with you.

Jackie Clifford - Presenter

Jackie was born on a military base in California. She moved a number of times until her family settled in a suburb of Chicago, IL. While in college, she studied at the Moscow Art Theatre School. Recently, she made the move to NYC. She loves ProjectExplorer because it combines her two loves: travel and art.

Meredith Claire - Photographer

Meredith is originally from Los Angeles. She graduated from Emerson College in 2006 with a degree in Acting where she also studied photography with numerous courses in black & white as well as digital photography. Sarah Sakaan - Presenter

Sarah Sakaan, originally from Memphis, TN, is a graduate of Emerson College. Sarah currently resides in New York City where she is a member of the BAT Theatre Company.
