Shakespeare’s England |

Welcome To England!
Greetings! I’m Sarah Sakaan, your guide for this Shakespearean adventure.
Before my trip to England, I made a list of things to bring. The most important things on my list were: my passport, a camera, and my umbrella and raincoat. (England can be rainy.) Then, it was off to the airport. Our flight was very long. It took 7 hours to get to London from New York City. When we arrived at London’s Heathrow Airport, the first thing we did was report to an immigration officer. Then, we collected our suitcases. They were marked with bright blue ProjectExplorer tags -- this made them easy to find. We piled into a black taxicab and made our way to the hotel. Jackie is my roommate for this trip. Our room has twin beds and a tea kettle, perfect for a long stay! Tomorrow morning we leave for Stratford-upon-Avon. I am looking forward to learning about Shakespeare’s life before he became an actor and playwright. We are all very tired because of the time change. I am off to bed so that we can start exploring early tomorrow. Enhance your English History: Learn about explorer Sir Francis Drake. A sleepy (but excited) explorer,
