Paterson Joseph is a British actor. He has played many Shakespeare characters in the United Kingdom. He has even appeared on Broadway!

We met with Paterson at the National Theatre in London. It is a very modern building located on the South Bank. There are several theatres in the building so it is like a small movie theatre complex.

We were able to see Paterson in a show at the National Theatre. Seeing him perform on stage was exciting! It was like seeing a friend in a movie.

Paterson spoke with us about what it is like to be an actor. He also told us why he enjoys working with Shakespeare. I really liked hearing about the amount of work it takes to become an actor. I studied acting in college and I like learning about other actors' training. Paterson inspired all of us to look at performance and Shakespeare in a new way.
