An item or building that has been restored means it has been repaired.

Things that are old, like antiques and buildings, are restored to bring them back their original look. Sometimes this means removing dirt or dust, like cleaning the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City. It could also mean rebuilding pieces that have broken, like repairing the Parthenon in Athens, Greece.
