A borough is a town that has its own set of rules. In London, there are 32 boroughs. Each borough has a member to represent them in Parliament.

Simon Hughes represents the people living in the borough of Southwark and Bermondsey. The borough of Southwark is also home to the rebuilt Globe Theatre, Borough Market, and the Clink Prison Museum.
