Christianity

Christianity is the religion focusing on the belief in one god and the teachings of Jesus Christ. Followers of Christianity are known as Christians.

Christianity is one of the world’s oldest religions. Christian teachings are found both in the New and Old Testaments of the Bible, a collection of religious writings.

Many branches of Christianity exist, including Catholicism, Protestantism, and Eastern Orthodox. Today, it is estimated that there are between 1.5 and 2 billion Christians, which is almost one third of the world’s population.
