Pretoria is located in the northern section of Gauteng, the smallest province in square miles but the most populous and fastest growing province in South Africa.

Pretoria is one of the three capital cities of South Africa. Pretoria is the seat of executive government in South Africa and considered the official country capital. The other two capital cities are Cape Town, the legislative capital of the country, and Bloemfontein, the judicial capital.
