Tasty Thai
Day 23

Busaba is a chic Thai restaurant in Central London. I immediately loved the place. The tables were very large and square so that many people could crowd around one to share a meal. The entire design was Asian influenced with a modern, artsy feel.

When we arrived, the manager greeted us and helped us get set up. We found a perfect table in the corner of the restaurant away from the other customers so we would not distract them. The funny thing about cameras and filming is that people tend to gather around you no matter how quiet or low key you try to be. I must admit though, I liked the fact that people wanted to watch what we were doing. It made us all feel like celebrities.

Once we got our equipment situated, the manager and staff selected a variety of dishes for us to try. If you ever find yourself at a restaurant and can't decide what to eat, just ask someone who works there for their favorite. This way you're bound to get something delicious. Hey, they work there, they should know!

The food arrived and we certainly weren't disappointed. I simply loved the shrimp, which are called prawns in England. The coconut rice with the green curry chicken was divine. Don't worry, the chicken wasn't green, it was made with green curry spices. Oh, and the Pad Thai! Almost every Thai restaurant offers Pad Thai. Everytime I have ordered it has been a wee bit different, and this was some of the best. But the best part of eating at restaurants is sharing meals with your friends and family. Like many Asian cuisines, Thai food is best shared with a big group. Each of us got to try several different dishes.

La gon (Thai for good-bye),
