An itinerary is simply another name for a journey or travel outline.

When planning a trip a travel agent (or travel website) will prepare an itinerary that includes:

• Flight information: including the date, time, flight number, seat number;
• Hotel information: including address, check-in and check-out time, and room information;
• Car rental or motorbike rental information; and
• Information on tours, shows, or over events that you may have selected during your trip.
