Greetings! I’m Jackie, your host for this Shakespearean adventure.

Itineraries in hand, team ProjectExplorer - Sarah Sakaan, Christopher Schram, Jenny Buccos, and I - headed to New York City’s JFK airport. The plane was packed and slightly uncomfortable. so I was unable to sleep during the 7-hour flight. Nevertheless, I was excited to be on my way to London!

11:00am the next day: London’s Heathrow Airport is enormous! Everywhere I looked there were yellow signs pointing me in the direction of immigration and passport control. Upon arriving at customs, I was asked several questions, including: How long are you staying in England? What exactly is the purpose of your visit? What is ProjectExplorer? These questions are standard protocol for all foreign visitors. After answering, my passport was stamped and I was approved to enter the country!

After collecting our luggage, we piled into a taxi and headed to our home for the next few weeks -- The Mad Hatter Hotel. Located in Southwark, it was once a hat factory. I claimed my bed and decided to relax for a while. Our hectic filming schedule begins early tomorrow morning. I hope that I can quickly adjust to the time change so that I feel less jetlagged soon!
