Rania Al-Yassin was born in Kuwait in 1970. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo.

In 1993, she married Prince Abdullah of Jordan. In 1999, when her husband ascended the throne, she officially became Queen of Jordan, making her the world’s youngest living queen.

Well known for her philanthropic efforts, Queen Rania works towards improving education and schools in Jordan and building understanding between cultures. In March 2008, she launched her own YouTube channel to dispel myths and stereotypes about Arabs and Muslims and bridge the gap between East and West.
