George D. King, III is Vice President & Co-Managing Director, Corporate Development at Alcoa the Dow 30/ Fortune 500 company which operates in the natural resources and industrial manufacturing sectors. In this role, he is responsible for evaluating and negotiating transactions on behalf of the company from both a strategic and financial perspective. Prior to joining Alcoa, George worked in investment banking at Lazard and Credit Suisse First Boston.

A native of Alabama, George has travelled to over 40 countries and six continents, and is a member of the Rotary Club of New York. He is a graduate of Washington & Lee University and the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program 181. After living in New York for ten years, he still considers himself a Southerner and passionately enjoys watching the Alabama Crimson Tide football team.
